In 2014, Kate Barone brought her vision to life with the opening of her very first salon–a cozy 1,000 sq ft space that quickly became a haven for clients seeking more than just a great haircut. With a passion for creating an elevated, relaxing salon experience, Kate imagined a place where beauty, comfort, and community could thrive together. Her dream was clear: to build a space that felt luxurious yet welcoming, where clients could unwind and stylists could flourish.

As the salon’s reputation grew, so did the need for more space. The team temporarily expanded into a 2,000 sq ft location while the flagship salon was being built–a custom designed space that fully embodied Kate’s original vision. Today, that dream is a thriving reality: a beautifully designed salon that blends high-end service with a laid-back, feel-good atmosphere.

From day one, Kate Barone Salon has prioritized healthy blonding, making sure every client leaves not only looking amazing but equipped with the knowledge and tools to care for their hair at home. Education and empowerment are key. From hand-sewn hats and statement jewelry to beautifully crafted candles, chic clothing, silicone stemware, and inspiring books–every item is handpicked with love by our team. Of course, you’ll also find the best haircare products and tools we trust and use ourselves. We’ve also created private suites within the salon to expand our range of services. One is currently home to a lash and brow artist, and the remaining suites will soon host even more beauty professionals, making Kate Barone Salon a one-stop shop destination for self-care. Whether you’re here for a full transformation or a quick touch-up, the salon is designed to be a place where you can truly relax. With cozy corners and plenty of space to settle in, it’s even perfect for getting a little remote work done while you’re in the chair.
